Dominique Kleiner
It is a coincidence that Dominique Kleiner became a painter. One day he received compliments from a neighbor about a mural he had made in his spare room. That neighbor, himself an amateur painter, advised him to start painting on canvas. Dominique started with copies of great masters but soon developed his own style.
Kleiner was born in Northern France but he moved to Fécamp in Normandy for his painting work. He still lives and works there. Although the landscapes of this region are very close to his art, he also paints the city, the port, the street, musicians; always in its own way. He paints with oil on canvas and always works with a knife. "After many years of research, I think that's the best way to express myself."
Smaller, he sells his works worldwide, from Hong Kong to the United States. In the Netherlands he is represented by Galerie Kunst en Kleur.
