Susan Ruiter
Susan Ruiter, was born on November 6, 1969 in The Hague. As a child she was always busy with crafts, painting and making clothing. Only at the age of 17 she noticed that she excelled in drawing. She likes to draw people and animals and loves round shapes, humor and color. The combination of these preferences led to the series of cheerful, colourful ladies.
She soon noticed that her work moved people: it made them happy. And so she discovered her passion: making the world a little more cheerful and happier through art. Susan lives and works in Vlaardingen in a beautiful converted house that contains her own gallery and studio.
